I'll be playing with Kyle Saulnier's Awakening Orchestra this Saturday at the
Nassau Coliseum. We will be performing as part of "The Warped Tour". It's
gonna be awesome. Come and watch all kinds of worlds collide.

03.21.08 | DMD Tracks
Hey Guys!

Just dropping in to let you know that all of the DMD tracks have been
recorded! All that is left is the mixing, mastering and pressing. We don't
have an expected release date yet or any release parties planned, but I will
update the opening track on my site to give you a sample of what's to come.

02.03.08 | Redeemer Coffeehouse
DMD will be playing at Hunter College at the Redeemer Presbyterian
coffeehouse on February 3rd at 7pm. Unfortunately, that is the same exact time
as the Super Bowl....I will most certainly be recording it on my DVR. So,
if you come, you are automatically invited to come over and watch the game
after most of the world has already seen it. See ya there!

11.26.07 | Rough Mix Up!
The first official rough "teaser" mix is up on the site. It is the new version
of "Before the Throne of God" that greets you when you first enter the site.

10.21.07 | DMD Recording-Update
It's on guys! DMD will be recording later this month. I'll put a couple of
sample tracks up as soon as they are mixed and whatnot. We will hopefully
be selling the cds by early next year, if not earlier. Get excited, it's gonna be
super awesome. More to come....

10.10.07 | DMD Recording
I am very happy to announce that I will be recording with DMD later this
month. We are working on putting together a cd of hymns in a modern
jazz context. It should be pretty dang good when it's all done. In case you
are wondering, DMD stands for Dustin-Mark-Dustin, as the band members
are me, Mark Lau (bass), and Dustin Rohrer (Drums), who just so happens
to have the same first and middle name as me! Weird, eh? Stay tuned for
that one.

10.07.07 | The Awakening Orchestra
Last night I once again played with Kyle Saulnier's Awakening Orchestra.
We had a great time playing at a hip hop showcase. I just wanted to continue
to encourage my visitors to check out Kyle's site and music. He uses his
powers for awesome.

10.07.07 | Upcoming Gigs
I will be playing two church gigs in the near future that I would like to
tell you about. They are both on Sunday, October 21st. The first is at
an Episcopal church in Long Island. I will be playing a Jazz Mass with a
quartet. The next is at the Redeemer Presbyterian coffeehouse at Hunter
College that evening. That will be with the trio, DMD. We will be playing
selections off of our upcoming recording. I'll post more details as it gets
closer.

09.18.07 | Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall
Writing about a concert that is coming up. It is at Weill Hall at Carnegie
Hall. I will be playing clarinet on some compositions that a friend of mine
wrote. Her name is Mavis Pan. It is this Saturday starting at 2:30pm. It
should be a great concert. Check the link out for more info.

07.19.07 | New Job and New Pictures!
I got a new job! I recently accepted a position at Manhattan School
of Music as an Assistant Audio Engineer. I am extremely excited
about it and will start some time next week. I will be setting up live
sound for concerts, recording concerts, and engineering/mixing recording
sessions. Very exciting.

Another bit of exciting news is that I will be getting some new pictures
done soon by a friend named Ben Collier. Ben is an extremely gifted
photographer and I'm sure the pictures will be amazing. Now, I just have

05.14.07 | The Awakening Orchestra
This is a project I'm very excited to be a part of. It is the music of
Kyle Saulnier and will feature a big band of fantastic musicians. We
will be playing at the Bowery Poetry Club this Saturday, May 19th,

05.12.07 | Recording Gear!!
Those who know me know how interested I've been in recording this
past year. I am very excited because I just acquired two more pieces of
gear that get me closer to my recording goals. I plan to record a couple
of projects over the summer for all to enjoy. Stay tuned...

03.30.07 | Redeemer
Jaques Imo's was a huge success! We had a great time and the
patrons were very much into it. This Sunday, April 1st, I will be
playing at the Redeemer Presbyterian evening service on the east
side. It is located at Hunter College and starts at 6pm. Click on the

I'm playing down at Jacques Imo's this Thursday night, March 29th.
We'll be playing from 8-11pm. Jacques Imo's is a cajun restaurant
located at 77th st. and Columbus Avenue. Come on down!
